P<\/strong>ercussion P<\/strong>erformance with I<\/strong>nteractive with EL<\/strong>ectronics <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PPIEL<\/em> (<\/em>sounds like piel, <\/em>which <\/em>is the word in Spanish for skin)<\/em> is a system that I have been developing for the last two three years. The system is my attempt to join my years of experience playing percussion and my practice in electronic music. It is a flexible setup that typically has percussion instruments or objects and a series of MIDI and wireless controllers connected to a computer. It can also include analog devices such as step sequencers and synthesizers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, my system runs in Ableton 10 and includes a series of Max for Live instruments that I created. These instruments area also controlled by a series of MIDI devices. Here’s a pic of how looked during the initial development in 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
